ANGLO PIZZA PRIVACY NOTICE Version 0.5 Last updated: 1 November 2026 Controller (legal name; for a partnership, the name of each partner): Anglo Gateshead Ltd Trading name: as shown above Legal form: Limited company Company number: 16346578 Registered office and place of registration: 236 Durham Road, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE8 4JR; registered in England and Wales Restaurant address: 236 Durham Road, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE8 4JR Email: alipyrot@hotmail.co.uk Phone: 0191 420 8827 Website: anglo.pizza This notice explains what happens to your personal information when you order from us. WHO WE ARE We are the business named at the top of this notice. We are responsible for the information you give us when you order. The law calls this being the "controller". FAIRPLATE'S PART Our ordering website and order system run on FairPlate, provided by Papi Labs Ltd. Papi Labs handles your order information for us, on our instructions and under a written contract. It does not use it for its own marketing or share your order history with other restaurants. You can order as a guest, or sign in with a FairPlate Account, which works at every restaurant that uses FairPlate. Papi Labs, not us, is responsible for your FairPlate Account, for keeping the platform secure and free of fraud, and for support requests sent to it. Its contact is support@fairplate.uk, and "More about FairPlate's part" below says how it uses that information. WHAT WE COLLECT When you order, we collect: - your name, email address and phone number; - your delivery address and instructions, if you choose delivery; - your order, including anything you write in the order notes; - how you paid, the amount, and any refund or payment dispute (we never receive your full card details); - how often you have ordered, how much you have spent and any loyalty stamps; - your marketing choices, and when and how you made them; and - messages and complaints you send us. If you sign in, your contact details and address come from your FairPlate Account. If someone else orders for you, we get the details they give us. You are added to our customer list when you order, ask for our marketing, or visit this site while signed in. We need your name, contact details, order and (for delivery) address to take your order. Everything else is optional. WHY WE USE IT - To fulfil your order (our contract with you): taking, preparing and delivering it, order updates, payment and refunds, and any loyalty scheme or promotion. - With your consent: marketing, and allergy and dietary information (see the next two sections). - Because we have a good reason that does not override your rights (our "legitimate interests"): keeping a customer list so that we recognise returning customers and understand our business; remembering your checkout details in your own browser for next time; preventing fraud and abuse, such as refusing orders from someone who repeatedly does not pay or collect; dealing with questions, complaints, refunds, payment disputes and legal claims; keeping proof of your marketing choices; and letting Papi Labs produce statistics that identify no one. - Because the law requires it: tax and accounting records, and lawful requests from authorities. Your checkout details stay in your browser until you clear this site's data. On a shared device, clear it after you order. ALLERGIES AND DIETARY NEEDS If you tell us about an allergy, an intolerance or a dietary need, in your order notes or by contacting us, you give your explicit consent to our using it to prepare that order safely. Our kitchen staff, and anyone who delivers your order for us, will see it. It stays with the order record, which we may need if there is ever a legal claim about that order. You do not have to tell us, but then we cannot take it into account. You can withdraw your consent by contacting us. If we have not yet prepared your order, we will stop using the information for it. If the allergy or need is someone else's, please check they are happy for you to tell us. MARKETING We send marketing only if you ask for it. The boxes at checkout are never ticked for you, and placing an order does not sign you up. To stop, use the link in any marketing email, reply STOP to a text, or email us. Our marketing emails and review requests show us whether you clicked a link in them. They do not track whether you opened them. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH We do not sell your information. We share it only with: - Papi Labs and the service providers it uses for hosting, email, security and support, each under a written contract. You can ask us or Papi Labs for the current list. - Stripe, which takes card payments through our own Stripe account, uses your information under its own privacy policy (including to prevent fraud) and may email you a receipt. - Google, which provides the address search, maps and fonts on this site and, under its own privacy policy, receives your IP address, your browser details and what you type into address search. - The services your browser contacts to show stock images and to look up a postcode (see "Cookies and browser storage" below). - Our staff, and anyone who delivers your order for us. - Your browser's notification service, if you turn notifications on. - Our advisers, insurers and service providers, such as our accountant, where they need it. - The police, HMRC, councils and regulators, where the law requires or allows it. - A buyer of our business, if we sell it. Some of Papi Labs' service providers are based, or handle information, outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Your information is then protected by safeguards that UK law recognises, such as the UK-US data bridge or transfer contracts approved by the UK regulator. Stripe and Google make their own arrangements. You can ask us for details and a copy. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT - Order records, including payment records and order notes: 6 years, for tax and accounting and in case of a claim. - Our customer list, loyalty stamps and marketing history: 24 months after your last order (or after you joined our list, if you have not ordered). - Proof of your marketing consent: while we rely on it, and for 2 years after it is withdrawn or your customer list entry is deleted. - Messages and complaints: 2 years after the matter is closed. Kitchen printer: copies of recent orders stay on our kitchen tablet or printer until newer orders replace them or the app's data is cleared. After these periods we delete the information or make it anonymous, unless the law requires us to keep it or we need it for a legal claim. Deleted information can stay in backups for a short further period. Papi Labs keeps your FairPlate Account for the periods in "More about FairPlate's part" below. YOUR RIGHTS You can object at any time to our using your information for marketing, or for anything we do under "legitimate interests". If you object to marketing, we always stop. You can also ask us to: - give you a copy of your information; - correct it; - delete it, where we have no lawful reason to keep it; - restrict how we use it; - give it to you, or to another organisation, in a reusable format; and - stop relying on your consent, at any time. Email us at the address at the top of this notice. It is free, and we reply within one month. The law allows longer for complex requests, and we will tell you if we need it. For your FairPlate Account, contact Papi Labs. If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first, by email or by post at the addresses at the top of this notice. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome. You can also complain to the UK data protection regulator, the Information Commission (ICO), at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. MORE ABOUT FAIRPLATE'S PART Papi Labs Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16762002, registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. For the information it is responsible for: - It uses your FairPlate Account details to create and run your account, sign you in and make your details available to the restaurants you order from (its contract with you), to keep accounts and the platform secure, prevent fraud and abuse and answer support requests (its legitimate interests), and to meet its legal obligations. - It keeps your account until you ask it to close the account, or for 24 months after your last sign-in. It keeps security and technical logs, which include IP addresses, for 90 days. Closing your account does not delete our records of your orders. - If you choose to start a support session recording, Papi Labs records what happens in that browser tab from then until you close or reload it: what the pages show, what you type, your clicks, errors and the page's technical activity, with your account name, email address and IP address. Do not enter anything you do not want recorded. Papi Labs uses the recording to find and fix the problem (its legitimate interests). Its support provider holds recordings in the United States, and they are kept for 30 days. - You have the rights listed above against Papi Labs for the information it is responsible for. To use them, or to close your account, email support@fairplate.uk. You can also complain to the ICO. COOKIES AND BROWSER STORAGE This site uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your basket and checkout details, work as an app and offline, and (through Stripe) prevent card fraud. It uses no advertising cookies or analytics trackers. This section is given by us and by Papi Labs, which runs the site for us. The site stores in your browser: - a sign-in cookie, if you sign in to a FairPlate Account, which lasts until you sign out or for up to 400 days after your last visit; - your basket, food notes and order choices, until you order, empty your basket or clear this site's data; - a record that you accepted our terms; - the contact and delivery details you enter at checkout; - messages and prompts you have closed; - a notification subscription, if you turn notifications on; and - site files, images and an offline page (not your account or order details), so that pages open quickly and the site can work as an app. Others also receive information from your browser. When the card payment form loads, Stripe sets cookies that it uses, with information about your device and how you use the form, to detect fraud. Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads its fonts, a map or address search, and what you type in address search, and may store or read information on your device. The services that supply stock images and look up a postcode you enter receive your IP address, and the look-up service receives that postcode. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser at any time, which also removes saved checkout details. If you block them, sign-in, your basket and checkout will not work. On a shared device, sign out and clear this site's data after you order. UNDER 16 You must be 16 or over to sign up to our marketing or to have a FairPlate Account. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before you order. CHANGES We update this notice when our use of your information changes, and change the date at the top. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you first where we reasonably can.
