ANGLO PIZZA TERMS OF SALE Version 0.4 Last updated: 1 November 2026 Seller (legal name; for a partnership, the name of each partner): Anglo Gateshead Ltd Trading name: as shown above Legal form: Limited company Company number: 16346578 Registered office and place of registration: 236 Durham Road, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE8 4JR; registered in England and Wales Restaurant address: 236 Durham Road, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE8 4JR Email: alipyrot@hotmail.co.uk Phone: 0191 420 8827 Website: anglo.pizza THE MAIN POINTS The numbered terms give the detail. If this summary and they differ, the meaning more favourable to you applies. You are buying from us, the restaurant named above, not from Papi Labs Ltd (FairPlate), which provides our ordering website and is not part of your contract. The contract is made when we accept your order. If we do not, you pay nothing and any payment is refunded in full. Any order fee is included in your basket total and listed before you pay. Any delivery fee is shown at checkout before you order. Paying by card costs no extra. The usual 14-day right to cancel does not apply to freshly prepared food (sealed drinks differ: see clause 7.4). You can cancel free of charge until we accept your order. If we cancel, you get a full refund. Collection and delivery times are estimates. Please give a correct address and phone number and be there to receive or collect your order: unless we were at fault, we do not refund a paid order we could not deliver because your details were wrong or nobody was there, or that you did not collect. Allergies: check each dish's allergen information and tell us about your allergy in the order notes, which are passed to our kitchen with your order. If you are unsure, phone us before ordering. Your legal rights are not affected. If something is wrong, contact us (see clause 9). 1. WHO YOU ARE BUYING FROM 1.1 The seller is the business named at the top of these Terms, with the legal form, addresses and contact details given there. 1.2 In these Terms of Sale ("Terms"), "we", "us" and "our" mean the seller. "You" means the person placing the order. 1.3 Our ordering website (the "Ordering Site") is provided to us by Papi Labs Ltd, trading as FairPlate ("Papi Labs"), company number 16762002. Papi Labs is not the seller or a party to your contract. We, not Papi Labs, are responsible for our menu, the prices of our food and drink and our allergen information, and we prepare and deliver your order. Please contact us, not Papi Labs, about your order. 2. THESE TERMS AND HOW TO ORDER 2.1 These Terms apply to every order placed with us through the Ordering Site, wherever you are when you place it. They do not apply to orders placed in person or by phone with our staff. 2.2 To order, fill your basket, choose collection or delivery where both are offered, enter your details and how you will pay, and press the order button. A line above the button links to these Terms. By pressing it you accept these Terms and agree to pay the total shown at checkout if we accept your order. You can check your basket (changing quantities or removing items) and correct any mistake before you press it. 2.3 These Terms and the contract are in English only. You can save or print these Terms from the Ordering Site. We keep a record of your order and, if you are signed in, you can see it on your order page. 3. WHEN THE CONTRACT IS MADE 3.1 Placing an order is an offer to buy its items on these Terms. The Ordering Site then shows a confirmation screen with your order number. This means we have received your order, not that we have accepted it. 3.2 The contract is made when we accept your order on our ordering system. If you are signed in, your order page shows when we have accepted it, and we may also email you. If you ordered as a guest and want to check, phone us. 3.3 We may decline an order, for example if an item has sold out, we are too busy or closing, we cannot deliver to your address, we reasonably suspect the order is fraudulent or not genuine, or the price or description shown was an obvious mistake that a reasonable customer would have spotted. We will try to tell you if we decline. An order we have not accepted within a reasonable time lapses. Either way, you pay nothing and any payment taken is refunded in full. 3.4 If an item becomes unavailable after we accept your order, we will contact you and will not substitute it without your agreement. If we cannot reach you, we will leave it out and refund its price (for an item in a deal, a fair share of the deal price). Or you can cancel the whole order for a full refund before it is delivered or collected. 4. PRICES, ORDER FEES AND PAYMENT 4.1 Prices are those shown on the Ordering Site when you order. They include any VAT and can differ between collection and delivery. 4.2 Where an order fee applies to your order (the Ordering Site may show it as a "service fee"), it is included in your basket total and listed before you pay. It is part of our price, not a tip, and does not go to our staff. 4.3 For delivery, our delivery fee and any minimum order value depend on your address. Before you order, the checkout shows the delivery fee for your address, includes it in your total, and tells you if your order is below the minimum. 4.4 The checkout total is the full amount you pay, however you pay. We do not charge extra for paying by card or add any charge after you order. 4.5 You can pay: (a) by card or another method shown at checkout, processed by Stripe, our payment provider, into our own Stripe account, and taken when you order; or (b) in cash, where the checkout offers it, when you collect your order or when it is delivered. 4.6 If a payment fails, we will not prepare the order. If you reverse a card payment after receiving your order and there is nothing wrong with it, you still owe us the price. 5. PROMOTIONS, DEALS AND LOYALTY STAMPS 5.1 Promotions, deals and promo codes apply only on the conditions shown with them and while they run. Promo codes work only on the Ordering Site, must be entered before you order, and have no cash value. 5.2 Any loyalty scheme's details are on the Ordering Site. Stamps are recorded against the email address you order with, and we may remove stamps earned on an order that is cancelled or fully refunded. Rewards can be used only on the Ordering Site at our restaurant and have no cash value. If you do not order for 24 months, we may remove your stamps and any unused reward. 5.3 We may change or close a loyalty scheme. Where we reasonably can, we will give at least 30 days' notice on the Ordering Site first, so that you can use any reward you have already earned. We may not be able to give notice if we stop trading or stop using the Ordering Site. 6. COLLECTION AND DELIVERY 6.1 Ready and delivery times we give are estimates, but we take reasonable steps to keep to them. 6.2 Collection: please collect promptly from our restaurant at the address at the top of these Terms. If you do not and we cannot reach you, we will keep your order for a reasonable time. Unless we were at fault, we do not refund a paid order you did not collect, and you still owe us the price of a cash order you did not collect. 6.3 Delivery: where we offer delivery, we deliver within our delivery area only (the checkout tells you if you are outside it). Please give a full address, a phone number and any access instructions. 6.4 If you ask us to leave your order somewhere, we treat it as delivered when we leave it there. This does not affect your legal rights if the order does not reach you. 6.5 If we cannot deliver because the address or phone number you gave was wrong, or nobody was available, we will try to contact you. If we still cannot deliver, then unless we were at fault we do not refund a card payment, and you still owe us the price of a cash order, because the food was made for you. 6.6 If your delivery arrives much later than the time we gave and is no longer of use to you, you can refuse it for a full refund. If it does not arrive for any reason not covered by clause 6.5, we will refund you in full. 7. CANCELLING AN ORDER 7.1 The usual 14-day right to cancel online purchases does not apply to our freshly prepared food, because it is made for you and spoils quickly. 7.2 You can cancel free of charge until we accept your order: use the cancel option on your order page where one is shown, or phone us straight away (ask for a member of staff). An email cancels only if we read it before we accept the order. Any payment is refunded in full. 7.3 Once we accept your order we start preparing it, so you cannot cancel it unless we agree or clause 7.4 applies. 7.4 If your order includes an item that does not spoil quickly, such as a sealed can or bottle of drink, you can cancel that item without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving it, by telling us clearly by email or phone. Return it unopened within 14 days of telling us, at your own cost. We will refund its price within 14 days of receiving it back or, if sooner, of you showing us you have sent it. You cannot cancel an item once its seal is opened. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. 7.5 If we cancel your order after accepting it, we will tell you as soon as we can and refund everything you paid for it, including any order and delivery fee. This does not apply to an order you did not collect or that we could not deliver (clauses 6.2 and 6.5). 8. ALLERGENS AND DIETARY NEEDS 8.1 What you write in the order notes, such as food instructions and delivery instructions, is passed to our kitchen with your order. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, check each dish's allergen information and tell us about the allergy in the order notes. If you are unsure whether a dish is safe for you, phone us before ordering (ask for a member of staff). 8.2 We show allergen information for a dish where we have provided it, and we are responsible for it. If a dish shows no allergen information, do not assume it is allergen-free: ask us first or choose another dish. Add-ons and choices may contain allergens not listed for the dish, so ask us if unsure. Recipes and suppliers change, so check each time you order. 8.3 We use any allergy information you give us to prepare your food safely, and it is kept with your order. 8.4 Our kitchen uses shared equipment and surfaces for many ingredients. We take care but cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from any allergen. If we cannot prepare your order safely, we will tell you and may decline it. 8.5 Allergen information for a dish is on the Ordering Site where we have provided it, and you can ask us for it by phone or when you collect or receive your order. If you cannot find it or it is unclear, contact us before eating. 9. IF SOMETHING IS WRONG: YOUR RIGHTS AND REFUNDS 9.1 By law, the food and drink we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and we must deliver with reasonable skill and care. If not, you have legal remedies, which can include a refund or replacement. Because food spoils quickly, the time to reject it may be short. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 9.2 If your order is wrong, incomplete or not up to standard, contact us as soon as you can, ideally the same day, with your order number. A photo helps, but you do not need one to use your legal rights. 9.3 If we refund your whole order, we also refund any order and delivery fee. If we refund part of your order, we refund the price of the items affected. 9.4 We refund card payments to the method you used, without undue delay and within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to a refund, and cash payments in cash or another way we agree with you. 10. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU 10.1 If we break these Terms or fail to use reasonable skill and care, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was obvious that it would happen, or if we and you both knew when the contract was made that it might happen. 10.2 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breaching your legal rights described in clause 9.1, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. 10.3 We are not responsible for loss caused by incorrect information you gave us, unless it was caused by incorrect allergen information from us or by our negligence. 10.4 We sell our food for private use and are not responsible for any business losses, such as loss of profit or opportunity. 11. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL 11.1 We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, a power or internet failure, or a failure of the ordering or payment systems we use. If this happens, we will tell you as soon as we can and either agree a new time or cancel your order with a full refund. 12. COMPLAINTS 12.1 If you are unhappy, please email or phone us using the details at the top of these Terms, with your order number. We will reply as soon as we reasonably can. 12.2 We do not use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will tell you our final position in writing. You can get free advice from Citizens Advice (England and Wales), Advice Direct Scotland or Consumerline (Northern Ireland), and you can take your claim to court. 13. YOUR FAIRPLATE ACCOUNT AND PRIVACY 13.1 You can order as a guest or with a FairPlate Account, which is provided by Papi Labs, not by us (help: support@fairplate.uk). 13.2 Our privacy notice on the Ordering Site explains how we use your personal data, your rights, how Papi Labs uses your FairPlate Account details, and the cookies and browser storage the Ordering Site uses. 14. OTHER TERMS 14.1 We may update these Terms. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order. 14.2 We may transfer our contract with you to a business that takes over our restaurant. We will tell you, and your rights will not be reduced. 14.3 Nobody else has any rights under this contract. 14.4 If a court decides that part of these Terms is invalid, the rest still applies. 15. LAW AND COURTS 15.1 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, but if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you keep the protection of your local consumer law. 15.2 You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live. 15.3 We can bring proceedings against you only in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
